This center will provide one public location for NAOIM's organizational status, governance documents, policies, reports, and financial disclosures as they become available.
Current organizational status
NAOIM is being developed as a nonprofit organization with a public-interest mission focused on education, ethical media standards, press freedom, and support for independent media professionals. NAOIM intends to seek recognition as a tax-exempt organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
Until recognition is granted by the Internal Revenue Service, NAOIM should not be described as an IRS-recognized 501(c)(3), and contributions should not be represented as tax-deductible.
